Background: Shikotsu is/was part of the Shichinintai, and was luckily sent off by Bankotsu when the Shichinintai were ambushed. She came back just in time ri witness their deaths, and instead of hiding herself, she ran out to attempt to stop the war lords. She was then killed along with the rest of the Shichinintai. Whenever she was revived by the Shikon Shard Bankotsu gave her, she was greatful that she would be able to spend time with her brothers once more. The flute that Shikotsu carries is able to control earth and during times of battle, that is mainly all she uses instead of her katana or bow and arrow.
