Background: Amelia was the youngest of her clan to master any of the spells recorded and taught. Her parents and the elders of her clan say that she is a gifted child, but other members of her clan grow wary of her, frightened by her quiet personality. Whenever she turned ten, something strange happened. She fell faint and when consciousness returned to her, she claimed a sacrifice would needed to be made in order to save the world. While others do not believe such sayings, she does, and in order to make sure that the required sacrifice be made, she left her family.
